Schedule of Events

  • Le Marché

Start with a café and a croissant and then join the crowds at one of France’s most renowned antique market.

Dating back to the 12th century, the marché in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is one of the most beautiful markets in Provence and is a feast for the senses. As you wander through the colorful stalls, the aromas of fresh bread, pastries, and local cheeses fill the air, while the bibrant displays of fruits, vegetables, and flowers tempt you at every turn. From handmade crafts to vintage treasures, there’s something for everyone at this charming market.

Other Info

The best route we have found is to fly in to Paris Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport and then take the TGV train to Avignon and then there are frequent trains from Avignon to L’Isle-sur-laSorge. Alternatively, if you choose to spend a few days in Nice before, there are frequent trains from Nice to L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue.

You can also choose to rent a car in Avignon or Marseille if you wish for the additional “freedom.”

*Keep in mind the time change! For those flying from the US, you lose a day coming to Europe and you gain the day flying home.

Accommodations

L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue offers a variety of charming accommodation options from adorable apartments to cozy bed and breakfasts to stylish boutique hotels, there’s something for every taste and budget.

We will be staying in the center and recommend using Booking.com or Airbnb.

Everything is walking distance, but parking is challenging. Many of the wedding events will take place in town. And of course you want to be near a café and brasserie for croissants in the morning.
